Activities
Our most recent fund raising even was a great success.
Steve Bowers, our Project Manager and renowned Drone Photographer, had organised a very special walk around lots of lakes in Telford.
Because of the killing of several swans on the Lake the FoHL Committee have decided to invest in cameras to monitor the wildlife on and around the Lake. We are organising Crowd Funding and activities to raise funds to buy the cameras
There are about 20 lakes connected with 17 miles of paths and roads. Steve intends to take as many people as possible to as many lakes and pools as possible this Sunday.
Pop over to our Facebook page for full information.
A few words from Steve:
Thank you for joining us for an epic challenge. Some of you completed the south Telford 22 lakes and pools challenge
You could have done the whole route or just a stage it was up to you. We are raising funds for a good cause by ensuring the wildlife on Holmer Lake remains unharmed for generations to come with the help of Camera`s to monitor the wildlife.
The walk was just £4 and you could pay via https://lnkd.in/dcceVcK or by donating on the day!
The details and map of each stage is on the FoHL facebook page
We did live Facebook feeds during the day to give you the chance to join us at different stages
On the day you could also take part in our photography competition, the best pictures of wildlife from all the lakes visited will feature in a future Telford Ultimate Guide film about lakes and pools and will receive a prize.
